For 8 weeks, starting June 9 and ending August 1 (Monday-Friday), we will serve as a host site for the USDA Summer Food Meals Program to provide a FREE lunch for children and teens in the low-income area while school is out. We plan on adding additional gospel-centered children's activities on certain days following the meal. Volunteers will be required to pass out the lunches and monitor the kids as they eat.
Our goal is to have 30 volunteers for the summer, with 2-3 volunteers per day. Volunteers would need to arrive by 11:15am and stay to 12pm.
